Open Graph Checker
Fetch a URL and validate its Open Graph and Twitter Card tags
The Open Graph Checker fetches any public URL and shows which Open Graph and Twitter Card tags the page actually exposes. In seconds you can see the title, description, image and URL that social platforms will read, and which recommended properties are missing.
Use it to audit a page before a campaign, debug a broken link preview or confirm that a CMS or SEO plugin is outputting the right tags.

Helpful Tips
Get better results with these suggestionsNever skip og:image
Links without an image get far less attention. Use an absolute URL to a 1200×630 image.
Check public pages only
Pages behind a login, firewall or bot protection cannot be fetched by social platforms either.
Tags must be in the HTML
Crawlers usually do not run JavaScript, so tags added only on the client side may not be seen.
Re-scrape after fixing
Platforms cache previews, so refresh them with each platform's sharing debugger after you fix the tags.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to common questions
Which tags does the Open Graph Checker look for?
It checks the recommended Open Graph properties og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url and og:type, plus the Twitter Card tags twitter:card, twitter:title, twitter:description and twitter:image.
Why can't the tool fetch my page?
The page may be private, behind a login or firewall, blocking automated requests, or taking too long to respond. Make sure the URL is publicly reachable and try again.
My tags are present but the preview is still wrong. Why?
Social platforms cache previews for a while. Use the platform's own sharing debugger to fetch the page again so it reads the updated tags.
Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter Card tags?
X (Twitter) can fall back to Open Graph tags, but setting twitter:card is required to choose the card style. Adding both gives you the most consistent previews.
Is the Open Graph Checker free?
Yes. You can check as many URLs as you like for free, without an account.
